The Battle Won
After the bandit coalition's attempt to invade the Canopy, the party find themselves exhausted, but none the worse for wear. A Perch Guard commander informs them that a counterattack is to be planned for the following evening, and that they are to meet at dusk. The party retires to Eliza Pennygleam's shop to rest for the night.
Upon waking, they find themselves staring down Cadwyll, a mysterious Mistral Raptor who is soon identified as the mysterious messenger having delivered their letters of summons to Alderheart. Cadwyll offers each, save Phoebe, who is nowhere to be found, a position in a burgeoning new franchise of their choosing, patronized by The Chamber of Industry as he tours them around Alderheart's Canopy, calling in favors and supplying goods and equipment to the party.
Majordomo Sebastian
The party is likewise introduced to Sebastian Trompole, a Mistral Raptor and former scout and courier of unknown origin. They split up, seeking old friends (Cyril, a traveling companion of Lucius, and drinking buddy of Billingsley, along with Cyril's master, Ambrose, at their shop) and answers (from the Tenders) to their questions. While mediating, Yarrow finds herself perched on forest boughs, dark shapes whooshing past her.
The party also receives their first headquarters, a well worn but serviceable wagon with a stove in roof, shattered windows, missing wheels, and doors barely on their hinges.
Plans are made to have Sebastian attend to repairs as the party heads back to Eliza's and The Talon and Chalice for another meal, and to prepare for their participation in the upcoming raid on the bandit camp.
